Tips on How to Get Into Pharmacy School Quickly and Easily


Getting into pharmacy school is very competitive and you must be well prepared. Keep your grades high because getting high grades shows determination, intelligence, and willingness to work hard.It also shows that you have learned what you’ve been taught.

Read through the terms of the admission policy of your pharmacy school of choice. Some schools like people who have traveled and seen the world, other are more academically oriented Some schools like you to take courses that are not listed as part of their prerequisites.

Prepare as early as possible.Take any standardized tests required at the appropriate time. For example PCAT. (Pharmacy College Admission Test).Take it before the deadline and only when you are ready for it.Your prerequisite courses must be taken by the time stated by the pharmacy school.

A sound education in MATH & SCIENCES Science courses in BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY & PHYSICS Some electives in HUMANITIES Courses in SOCIAL & BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES A good WRITTEN & COMMUNICATING SKILLS

Develope the ability to read,write,think and communicate. Make sure you excel in math and science.

Try and get some experience either work related, intern or volunteer work in a pharmacy. Your pharmacy-related experience will help you during your interview Show them who you are as a person, not just a potential pharmacist. You must also get strong recommendations; at least one from a practicing Pharmacist.
